Pic of the day & improve your iphone photography skills ebook

Good afternoon/Good morning/Good evening!

Enjoying a relaxing Sunday here in Cardiff.......well, before I get started on the laundry at least! children are quiet for now, wonder how long that will last!

If like me, you often take photos with your iphone, but want to know how to improve the look of them, then you may be interested in a new ebook that's just come out by Misho Baranovic, and digital photography school,  showing you how to take creative control of your iphone and get the best out of it. I purchased the book myself yesterday, as yet have not started reading it, but definitely eager to start!

Black & White Photography...

A walk along Penarth Pier....

Good afternoon! (well here in the UK anyway! :) )

The weathers pretty gloomy here today, had wanted to take a walk from Cardiff Bay along to Penarth, but may put on hold for another day!

Took a trip to Penarth Pier yesterday, first time! it's taken me this long to actually go there, and it's only 5/10 minutes up the road! We did get a bit lost, but managed to arrive shortly before sunset. Was slightly overcast though, but did manage to get a few nice shots.

This one below was taken with iphone 3, as we were driving by, bit too much noise in the sky for my liking, but apart from that, quite pleased how it turned out..

Hello & Salaams!

Popping back in to post a few recent pics I've taken, My youngest broke his arm on Sunday, which meant an overnight stay at the hospital, he double fractured his arm, but he's doing really well alhamdulillah.

Took a nice afternoon trip to Barry Island a few days ago, the weather wasn't really on our side that day, was lovely when we got there, but as soon as we got up a bit higher on the mountain the dark clouds started moving in, think its the first time I've actually been at the beach when it's rained, which was kind of nice in a way :)

Have got a few more photos I need to edit, will post them shortly insha Allah (God willing)

Using the pro-HDR app on iphone

While at my mums recently I took some photos using my iphone, really need to start remembering to take my   camera everywhere I go! I took the photo above with the pro HDR app, which I find produces some pretty good pictures. Probably not the best photo I could have taken, but theres just something about the houses below with the washing on the line...don't ask! lol

I thought I'd re-edit these earlier photos, to be honest I prefer the new look, there's something about black & white that I really like, and have been editing a few other photos in the same way. 

These photos were taken back in Sparkhill, Birmingham...
