First signs of spring

Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!

  1. Isn't it lovely to see the blossom, I like your first picture very much, it's gorgeous. Good luck with your photography course, I'm sure you'll enjoy your new camera. An online photo course which I bookmarked (and then only downloaded the first pdf for) is at http://www.twopeasinabucket.com (the course is at this link http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/cg_display.asp?g=2&seed_id=26022 ).
    These lessons are free pdfs. I haven't followed along but have heard other people recommend it.
    Enjoy your trip to Wales. I'm looking forward to more spring weather, it's hazy here today but feels more like spring!

  2. Hi Lisa, thanks for dropping by. Glad you liked the picture.
    Will be taking a look at the link you posted.
    The weather the last few days has been lovely, really starting to brighten up now, I feel I'm really appreciating this spring coming in, where I hadn't really before, I think it's probably something to do with the photography, more aware of my surroundings, and therfore more aware of spring arriving and the beauty that comes with it.

  4. So happy to see your comment Umm Travis, Masha'Allaah, I was thinking of mentioning it to you, and ask you for some feedback, but, with being such a total amateur, thought you might not be interested. In fact it was mainly your photography that inspired me to start snapping away.Jazakillaahu khairan sis for taking a look.x
